How We Holiday: Winter Wreath Edition

Sometimes we have styled shoots just for fun. Since we no longer publish the magazine, it gives us a chance to shoot what we want to, experiment with new styles, and create content for ourselves, as well as have a creative outlet. We recently shot a few holiday-themed set-ups, each inspired by a winter narrative.

Winter Wreath

This fresh wreath is inspired by our friend Jennifer’s wreath that we shared last year in the magazine (and more recently on the blog). Using a slightly deconstructed grapevine wreath, I pulled together natural elements including evergreen cuttings, hypericum blooms, and bay leaves to create a festive asymmetrical arrangement. To recreate this look, layer elements by tucking them under one another and securing the to the grapevine with floral wire. You can also add a bow, ribbon, or ornaments for that finishing touch.
