Gingerbread Brownies and Brown Butter Glaze Recipe

1 cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
4 eggs, beaten
2 tsp vanilla extract
⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa
1 cup all purpose flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground allspice
1/4 tsp ground cloves
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 pan.
Melt butter and cool for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine sugars and butter. Stir in eggs, vanilla, cocoa, flour, baking powder, salt, ginger, cinnamon, allspice and cloves. Combine well. Pour into prepared baking pan.
Bake 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out with just a few crumbs on it.
Cool to room temperature before slicing.
