Recipe adapted from Haylie Duff, The Real Girl’s Kitchen
8 ounce round of Brie
2 TBSP maple syrup
½ tsp of cinnamon
¼ tsp of ground cardamom
¼ tsp of ground ginger
1/8 tsp of ground red pepper
2-3 sprigs of fresh thyme
Place Brie wheel on a sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil. Score top of Brie with a sharp knife. In a small bowl combine cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and red pepper. Drizzle Brie with maple syrup and then sprinkle with spice mixture. Strip thyme sprigs of leaves and add leaves to the top of the Brie. Close foil around Brie. Place the foil package on the edge of campfire or grill until warmed. About 5-7 minutes. For oven heating, place in a 350 degree oven for 5-7 minutes.
